An Experience of Goan Culture Far And Beyond.

We start of the day by visiting the present capital city Panjim stop at the immaculate conception church for a photo stop ,walk through the quaint lanes of the Latin quarter Fontainhas a short visit to the Local fruit, flower and vegetable market than proceed to old Goa to visit the two famous churches the basilica of Bom Jesus and the se cathedral along the way stop by a traditional century old Hindu temple. Finally visit a Goan spice plantation to learn about the different spices and herbs grown in Goa and their medicinal values in treatment for various ailments. Finally feast on a traditional Goan Hindu buffet lunch and relax.
Itinerary :
- Visit Colonial quarter Fontainhas.
- Visit a traditional Fruit, Flower and Vegetable Market.
- Visit the world heritage monument at Old Goa: Basilica of Bom Jesus and Sé Cathedral.
- Visit of an age old Hindu Temple.
- Visit of a spice plantation to learn the medicinal value of the local spices grown in Goa and enjoy a traditional Goan Hindu Lunch cooked with the spice sourced from the plantation.

Safety Measures Guidelines:
- Protect against sunlight exposure with application of sunscreen.
- Carry your own umbrellas and raincoats during monsoon season.
- No loud talking in the colonial quarters as it is a residential area.
- No posing for photos in front of people’s homes.
- Dress Code At Places Of Worship:
- A strict dress code to be followed.
- NO sleeveless tops or short shorts. Cover shoulders in case wearing sleeveless top.
- Shorts have to be below knee length, No mini skirts, No strapless or fine strap dresses or short dresses or Sleeveless T-shirts or T-shirts or Blouse tops above midriff.

A great Goan excursion
We were a family of 8 and some visiting India and Goa for the first time. We were greeted at our hotel by Mario and a mini coach to take us on a memorable tour of Old Goa and the Bom Jesus Basilica, St Catherine’s Cathedral and then the tropical spice plantation in Ponda ending with a heritage walk in Panjim.
Mario is very knowledgeable, interesting and personable and guided us on the history of Goa under Portuguese rule and the liberation in 1961. He also showed us and explained the rituals of a very old Hindu temple near Ponda.
A very enjoyable day was had by all and Mario’s contribution made us all very relaxed. Thank you Mario.

Fantastic Day Tour!
We had an incredible family day with Mario who showed us the beautiful sights of Goa. We have been to Goa before but Mario taught us a lot about Goan history and showed us many hidden gems. We especially enjoyed walking through & learning about Fontainhas and experiencing the wonderful spice garden. Mario was not only very knowledgable but also had a great sense of humour and could answer any question thrown his way. Highly recommended!
